Her Health Story

Emily wasn't always the happy and healthy person she is today. During her student athlete career, she struggled with body image issues and disordered eating, leading her to develop unhealthy and self-destructive behaviors. When her life seemed to hit rock-bottom after being diagnosed with anxiety and depression at sixteen years old, Emily sought to transform her life for the better. She coached herself, realizing that a one-size-fits-all approach was detrimental to both her physical and mental health. Through years of dedicated work and research from both herself and her team of healthcare professionals, Emily found comfort and self-acceptance in her newfound identity in adulthood. Inspired from what she had learned from herself and others, Emily dedicated herself to a career of helping others find balance and self-love in themselves, too. Her passion lies in helping those whose social identities are underrepresented in the health and wellness sphere, particularly those who also fall under a neurodivergent identity (i.e., ASD and ADHD). She believes that the path to wellness is unique to all individuals, adopting a holistic approach to health. For those who need guidance, she will happily extend a hand.
